BC Is Too Big for One Pricing Model.
A move from Surrey to Burnaby is not planned like Vancouver to Nanaimo, Abbotsford to Kamloops or Prince George to Vancouver. The route changes the truck plan, delivery schedule and pricing method.

British Columbia Has a Lot of Awkward Routes.
Not every move lines up neatly with a regular corridor. Quesnel to Kamloops, Kelowna to another Interior community or a remote pickup may require different truck positioning and planning.
You can still request a quote. We can review whether the move fits a scheduled route, available truck movement or a dedicated move.
Send your pickup, destination, date and move size. We will tell you whether it fits a regular corridor, regional route or custom move.

Questions People Ask Before Moving Across BC
Route, distance and destination can completely change how a move is planned.
Do you provide moving service throughout British Columbia?
Western Moving & Storage handles local moves throughout its Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley network and regional or long-distance moves to destinations across British Columbia. Routes outside the core local network are quoted according to route, inventory, schedule and truck requirements.
Are all BC moves charged hourly?
No. Core local moves are generally hourly, while regional, Vancouver Island and long-distance moves are commonly handled using route-based flat-rate pricing.
Can you move me from the Lower Mainland to Kamloops or Merritt?
Yes. These can be quoted as regional BC moves. Same-day or scheduled delivery may be possible depending on inventory, move date and truck availability.
How do Vancouver Island moves work?
Mainland-to-Island moves are planned as route-based moves. The quote accounts for transportation and ferry logistics required for the move.
What is a consolidated long-distance move?
A consolidated move uses available truck capacity for more than one booked move travelling along a compatible corridor. Availability depends on route and schedule.
Can I book a full truck for my move?
Full truck load options are available for suitable long-distance moves, especially larger inventories, dedicated capacity requirements and select cross-border routes.
What if both pickup and destination are outside the Lower Mainland?
You can still request a quote. Intercity BC routes outside the core network depend more heavily on truck positioning, availability and whether the route aligns with scheduled operations.
